Sahar Haghgoo
Sahar Haghgoo was born in 1981 in Rasht, Iran. She is a freelance illustrator based in London. She creates her illustrations through digital and mixed media techniques; and loves to use theatre and drama scenes in her compositions.
Iranian miniature inspires her, and she believes using their structures improves the scenes. She creates her illustrations through digital and mixed media techniques. Sahar and her daughter love to discuss literary elements within old tales, which influences her work. Humour, love, and kindness are key parts of her work, as she deems key to human victory. She has a BA in graphic design and a MA in illustration. Her favorite illustrators are Quentin Blake, Adolf Born, David Roberts, Kamāl ud-Dīn Behzād.”
