Samira Nowparast

Samira Nowparast was born in Tehran in 1979. She started in the field of art at a very young age as she attended Master Golamhossein Nami’s art classes. She soon started her solo shows at the age of 15 at Vali gallery in Tehran.

She received her B.F.A in Painting from the Azadi University of Tehran and her M.F.A in Painting from the Al-Zahra University.

She earned her diploma in Animation and Comic Strip from a well-known animation institute in Rome “Scuola Romana Dei Fumetti”

She has exhibited extensively in the United States and internationally as The 3rd International Biennial of the Islamic World Contemporary Painting, Bice Bugatti Art Prize, and LA Art Show.
She currently lives and works in Los Angeles / New York.
