Roshi Rouzbehani

Roshi Rouzbehani is a freelance illustrator who graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a BA (Hons) in illustration, bringing ideas and concepts to life through lines and colors. Roshi enjoys creating editorial and portrait illustrations that are feminine, considerate, and emotional.

Collaborating with The Washington Post, Project Everyone, BBC 100 Women, YWCA GB, Gal-dem.com and Periodfutures.org, harasswatch.com, and Popshot Magazine among others, Roshi is passionate about gender equality and loves to put topics such as women’s empowerment, sisterhood, and mental and physical health for women at the center of her work. Last year, she self-published a book “50 Inspiring Iranian women” which is an illustrated biography book to pay tribute to 50 women from Iran.

Her works have been featured in BBC Persian, Middle East Eye, Creative Boom, Ms. Magazine, and IDI website for Social Awareness.

She also has been Long-listed for World Illustration Awards 2020, Runner-up in Creative Quarterly 56, honorable mention in 3×3 International Illustration Show 2019, and shortlisted in The Brightness Awards 2019.
