Sam Nejati - ZH Magazine

Sam Nejati is an Iranian visual artist who lives and works in San Francisco Bay Area. His large-scale paintings draw upon his heritage and Eastern philosophy to explore the shared emotional and spiritual elements of human existence.

Bringing to life the “universal and ethereal auras” that emerge from being alive, Nejati’s works are visceral improvisations that illuminate the human experience in the form of arresting abstract expressions. Nejati attended the Visual Art School of Tehran and received his BA from San Francisco State University.
