Milad Karamooz
Milad Karamooz is a self-taught Tehran-based photographer who was born in 1982. He has started photography at the age of 17 and worked his way up the art community after the 2013 art exhibition, as he officially entered the professional world of art.
Challenging modern humans in confronting themselves, traditional beliefs and patriarchy have always been his issues and pictured in his artworks. Milad’s focus is always on leaving the audience with the question of where the human stands in today’s world and whether he needs a refreshment or change at all?
He participated in several groups and solo exhibitions in Iran, Portugal, Italy, the USA, the UK, etc., which brought him numerous awards in prestigious photo festivals. Moreover, his artworks and interviews are published in the national and international press such as LA Times, Artsy & LA Weekly.
