Mahsa Vanaki is an architect and designer based in Bay Area California.
She received her first masters degree in architecture from Tehran’s Azad university. After working in a variety of projects in Tehran, she continued her education in the US and received a MArch from California College of the Arts in San Francisco. Her interest in digital fabrication and digital crafting has become a focus to her personal practice. In her body of work she combines her design sensibilities and hand crafting skills with computational intelligence to explore new possibilities of performance and aesthetics in various objects and most importantly, the built environment.
