Foroozan Shirghani

She was born in Shirvan in 1980. Foroozan received her BA in painting from Art & Architecture University in 2004 and her MA from Alzahra University in 2008. She has showcased her work through many solo as well as group exhibitions in Iran, India , Italy and USA.

Her works are mainly focused around 3 areas of drawing, painting and mix media and most recently she has done some works under categories such as installation and video art as well. Her artworks’ theme carries subjects such as figurative, psychology and social relations. Foroozan has been teaching for around six years at art universities in Tehran before she moved to LA, California. Currently she is working and living in Los Angeles.
