Maryam Firuzi

Maryam Firuzi is a multimedia artist who works and lives in Tehran. Although her academic training was in Film (B.A) and Film Studies (M.A), graduating from Tehran Art University in 2016, her artistic field is not limited to filmmaking. 

Sarah Sasani

Sarah Sasani was born in 1985 in Tehran. She graduated from the Tehran University of Art and Architecture in the research of art. She has activated in photojournalism since 2003.

Labkhand Olfatmanesh’s photography explores themes of feminism, racism, and isolation, and how these forces take shape in the United States and her birthplace of Iran. 

Interview with Soroosh Milanizadeh

Soroosh Milanizadeh, born in 1978, a photography graduate from Art and Architecture Azad University of Tehran. He is a Photographer, Video Artist, Painter, and art curator. He started his constant professional career in 1999 and has attempted to express his social concerns, particularly the position of women in society ever since. 

Malekeh Nayini

Malekeh Nayiny was born in 1955 in Teheran, Iran. She obtained a B.A. in fine arts and photography from Syracuse University in 1978 followed by advanced photography at the International Center of Photography in New York, 1980-1982. 

Farzane Ghadyanloo

Ghadyanloo is a street and fine art photographer based in Tehran, Iran. Born in 1989, Farzana graduated from high school in 2008, concentrating on Humanities. Afterward, she started her bachelor's degree in Directing and graduated in 2013. She started traveling and joined different Artist residency programs meanwhile. 

Mani H Zonoozi

Mani Hosseinpour Zonoozi was born in Tehran, Iran. He moved to Austin, Texas in 2011 and studies Fashion and Commercial Photography. 

Interview with Lena Späth

Lena Spath was born and grown up in Germany and currently resides in Spain. She became acquainted with Iranian interiors during her Middle Eastern Studies exchange in Tehran. She was instantly drawn to the deep heritage and architectural mastery of the buildings that surrounded her. The contrast between grandeur and simplicity along with the natural materials, earthy colors and elaborate designs led her to decide to visit Iran in 2017. 

Reza Bahrami

Reza Bahrami was born in 1978 in Isfahan_Iran. He is a filmmaker and photographer based in Los Angeles. He has directed and produced several documentaries for established TV channels and he has more than ten years of experience working with agencies, channels, and magazines all around the world. 

Babak Tafreshi

Babak Tafreshi is an award-winning photographer working with the National Geographic, a master of night-time photography and nightscape videos. He used the context of the night sky to bridge Earth and sky, art and science, cultures and time. He is also a science journalist and the founder of The World at Night (TWAN) program; an elite group of about 40 photographers in 25 countries who present images to reconnect people with importance and beauties of the night sky and natural nights (since 2007). 

Mostafa Nodeh

Mostafa Nodeh, (Born in 1980) is a self-taught photographer based in Gilan, IRAN. Nodeh is known for his keen eyes on Landscape & Minimal photography. He is a member of “Iranian Photographer Association" and also a member of "International Federation of FIAP”. 

Mehrdad Afsari

Mehrdad Afsari, photographer, documentary director and video artist was born in 1977 at Khoy. Afsari got his B.A. and M.F.A in photography from Art University of Tehran. And later on, he joined the academic team at TAU and teaching for 14 years. He is an honorary member of Iranian Visual Artists Society, as well.
